Founded in 2008, Wear And Tear is an exploration of fabrics and their possibilities. Carefully handcrafted, each piece is a modern and beautiful juxtaposition of unexpected materials.

The Visionary
Cheung Lik, the visionary designer behind Wear And Tear, got involved with many collaborations with the Hong Kong design world following her graduation from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Fashion. One of such opportunities was an invitation to create her own brand for a niche boutique looking for local designers in Causeway Bay. Not surprisingly, her designs were a hit for the boutique and Wear and Tear was born. From the Trade Fair in Paris, France to the renowned London Fashion Week, Cheung’s talent has taken the world by surprise.

Contemporary Jewelry With An Edge
Cheung’s inspiration comes from her desire to stand out. Her independent nature is reflected in her designs: mixing different bold colors with contrasting textures and materials.

“I always try to make the impossible possible. Its all about unexpected juxtaposition,” she says confidently.
